I loved having our food on the table at the Food Hub in the NSNH this past Wednesday. Having such beautiful food growing and ready to harvest in mid-November inspires me to perfect my fall/winter cropping skills for next year and strive to have weekly markets right through November. I also makes me very excited to be able to have some of our Loutet produce go to people in need. Harvesting produce for the Food Hub made me realize how much I prefer this format – at least having our produce out on the table for people peruse, and let people know where it came from – over the format of just donating food in a box. Interesting!
